The Gonzales Family

Today I had the honor of spending some time with  a wonderful family.  

This is the Gonzales Family.  

They are a fun bunch.  I know in the process of this shoot I have made friends.  

Family:

A Family is like a circle the connection never ends.
And even if at times it breaks in time it always mends.
A family is like the stars somehow they are always there.
Families are those who help, support and always care.
A Family is like a book the endings never clear.
But through the pages of the book their love is always near.
A family is many things with endless words that show
who they are, what they do and how they teach you so you know.
But don’t be weary if it's broken or if through time it's been very worn
families are like that-
sometimes split up or torn.  But even if this happens
your family will be there to help define just who you are
and will be part of you..... Always.

This is M.  Or mom.  One Sexy Lady, loving mother & wife. 

This is G.  He is one Handsome man & loving husband.

Next is A.  Possibly the next GQ model?  Funny & a gentlemen.

Lastly is K.  This lovely young lady is pretty.  Also a Smart up and coming woman.

Snips, snails and puppy dog's tails....

So your baby is here!
What joy and what pleasure!
Now your life is expanding,
To make room for this treasure.

    

A darling newcomer
To have and to hold--
His smiles are more precious
Than silver or gold.

He'll demolish your schedule
Though he's helpless and small;
He'll make his needs known,
And he'll rule over all.

            

See, a new parent's work
Is just never quite done,
But you'll never mind,
‘Cause it's all so much fun.

        

  When you hear his cute giggle
You'll start "aahing" and "oohing,"
And he'll soon reply back
By "ga ga" and "goo gooing."

        

Those big innocent eyes
See a world strange and new;
To make sense of it all
He'll look only to you.

          

So cherish this time
Of miraculous things--
The excitement and wonder
That a new baby brings.

A Wish From Baby

I have a little wish for you

for you my mommy-to-be,

this is a way for me to say

thank you for loving me!

I wished upon the twinkling stars

for you , my mommy to know,

that I can already feel

all the love you show!

How you rub your belly

and sing me a sweet song,

and how you ask my daddy

to join in and sing along.

Sometimes it is hard I know

to always do what's right,

like watching what you eat

to make my future bright!

You've already made me happy

my loving mommy-to-be,

you're not waiting until I'm born

you are already loving me!

You will know my wish came true

when you feel how much I care,

a little wish from baby

with so much love to share!

You little one are daddy's pride,

the joy you bring I cannot hide.

Ten little fingers and ten little toes,

your beautiful eyes and button nose.

How could I... even dream

what having you would really mean.

I do wish I would've known,

that you are really a gift on loan.

Tho', I could not have prepared,

for the gift of love, that God has shared.

I will always do my best,

God believes, I'll pass this test

and I will know I have succeeded

when you're a parent, and there when needed.

The road ahead holds many twists and turns, ups and downs.

Length:  19.5 inches

 I loved you from the very start, you stole my breath, embraced my heart. Our life together has just begun, you're part of me my little one. As mother with child, each day I grew, my mind was filled with thoughts of you.

I'd daydream of the things we'd share, like late-night bottles and teddy bears. Like first steps and skinned 

 knees, like bedtime stories and ABC's. I thought of things you'd want to know, like how birds fly and flowers grow. I thought of lessons I'd need to share, like standing tall and playing fair.  

When I first saw your precious face, I prayed your life be touched with grace. I thanked the angels from above, and promised you unending love. Each night I lay you down to sleep, I gently kiss your head and cheek. I count your little fingers and toes, I memorize your eyes and nose. 

I linger at your nursery door, awed each day I love you more. Through misty eyes, I dim the light, I whisper "I Love You" every night.

 I loved you from the very start, You stole my breath, embraced my heart. As mother and child our journey's begun, my heart's yours forever little one.

Every parent knows a baby is truly a gift!

Thank you for letting me share this with you. I love freezing & capturing moments like this forever.  They grow up so fast, enjoy every minute.
